My Latest Homebrew Camera

I have made several trail cameras and still get a ton of enjoyment from the process. The first time that you build one you get very nervous by hacking a $150 dollar Sony camera but you build confidence after the first one. There is currently a handful of niche vendors that cater to the trail camera building community. The board that I used to control the camera is a Pixcontroller Le Board. It comes complete with DIP switches that allow me plenty of flexibility when setting up the camera. The board is also compatible with many types of digital cameras so it might even work with a camera you have layin around the house.
